Q07:
I
can’t configure the Wireless PCI Card when installed with Windows
XP?
Please
open start / settings / control panel / system management utilities
/ service to check "Wireless Zero Configuration" service
is existed and the service is started automatically.
- If the service is not started automatically please change it to
"automatically" and start this service.
- If the service does not exist please open start/run and type
“regedit” then press enter. To find HKEY_LOCAL_MANCHINE/SYSTEM/CURRENT_CONTROL_SET/SERVICES/WZCSVC
and
ADD DWORD "START", VALUE = 2 then reboot the computer.
It is a known bug for Windows XP to upgrade service pack 1 without
disable Wireless Zero Configuration utility. If possible, please
upgrade the card driver/utility version to the latest release.

Q06:
Why
the driver and utility have to be installed before plug in the PCI
card?
Because
the driver released is not a WHQL driver (Microsoft certificate), if
you plug the card before install the driver. Windows will detect a
new hardware and try to find a suitable driver for this new device
and of course Windows is not able to find a driver for this device.
The problem is here, if user cancel windows search then install
device driver, this device can works fine. But if user let windows
to search a driver for this device, windows will see this device as
a problem device and user cannot install it automatically. We
understand it is not convenient for end user and we are preparing a
new driver to pass WHQL test, new WHQL driver will ready to release
and this problem will disappear.
