Overview
The
access point allows you easy, seamless and secure connectivity to
your existing Wired or compatible Wireless LAN - or to the Internet
at -11Mbps! Using the new 2.4GHz IEEE802.11b Wireless standard, the
device gives you not only increased speed and mobility between your
desktop, the conference room, or the Campus (with automatic
'roaming') - but also the ability to communicate in both PC and Mac
environments, using popular protocol recognition utilities. Set-up
is easy with the access point management software. The device uses a
64 or 128 bit wireless-packet encryption (WEP) to give you a secure
network.
