Overview
The UGL2454-VPXR is a 54Mbps Wireless 32-bit PCI adapter with
Atheros Super-G mode to enhance a maximum wireless speed up to
108Mbps data transfer rate. It supports Ad-Hoc ( peer-to-peer )
communication and Infrastructure mode with Access Pont. Therefore,
it is an ideal device for home and SOHO networking with high speed
internet connection with the flexibility, speed and security you
need.
This Wireless-G PCI Adapter comes with software drivers for the most
popular Microsoft Windows operating systems and can be integrated
into a larger network, running Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME,
Windows 98SE, in either Ad Hoc mode (without an Access Point) or
Infrastructure mode (with an Access Point).
The UGL2454-VPXR features Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) and
64/128-bit WEP Encryption to provide an enhanced level of security
for wireless data communications. It also includes advanced security
features such as WPA2 and AES to keep your wireless connection safe
from unauthorized access. With drivers and utility available for
most commonly used Windows OS. The 2.4GHz 802.11g/b Wireless PCI
Adapter is a truly solid-design networking device that provides you
with the ultimate freedom of wireless networking anywhere.
A setup wizard is provided as the part of the web configuration
utility. You can simply follow the step-by-step process to get your
wireless PC Card configuration ready to run in few easy steps by
clicking on the “Wizard” button on the function menu.
