Overview

 

UPE5416-8E is a 16-port 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch with built-in 8 PoE high power ports. It supports IEEE802.3at/af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard and supplies 120 Watts in total for full 15.4W all the PoE-On ports, and up to 30 watts per port to power any 802.3at compliant power devices such as IP-based products like outdoor PoE Wireless Access Point, PoE IP phone, PoE Network security camera, and more.

 

The advantage of PoE function is to provide power and data over existing network cables. It eliminates the need for electricians or extension cords while installing new expanding equipments. Therefore, UPE5416-8E can save space, reduce cables and eliminate the requirement for the dedicated electrical outlets to lower the installation cost. This PoE technology is suitable for small business, school campus, bookstore, coffee shop with internet hot spot, or enterprise network environments.
 

UPE5416-8E has outstanding performance and high efficiency. It fulfills the needs of connecting the partners of network with best network speed and duplex mode automatically. Duplex mode also doubles the bandwidth by enabling two-ways communication. All ports support auto MDI/MDI-X, connecting switch to switch is more convenient with non-crossover cable.

The UPE5416-8E is plug-n-play without software to configure and also supports power protections as OVP (Over Voltage Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OTP (Over Temperature Protection), robust short-circuit protection and surge protection. It is also fully rack-mountable unit that is easy to integrate into your network infrastructure.
